Waking up

I don’t mean Waking Up in the psychospiritual sense. At least, not today. I mean moving from sleep to awake.

My default setting for my nervous system is pretty high, which means when I wake up every morning it seems that my system has been at it. For hours. Resetting before I go about my day, sometimes before I even get out of bed, has been pretty crucial and extraordinarily potent for me moving throughout my day in a civilized, responsive nature.

After spending 20 minutes petting one of our dogs (Zelda is quite literally the sweetest canine I have ever had the pleasure to meet), I thought to share a slow, relaxed walk through the body as it comes to life.
